Area Sales Manager South-East Europe (m/f) Load/Container Handling Systems & Services

handling and tipper industry for more than 150 years. The family driven Group stands

strong OEM-partnerships and highly customized solutions. The Group operates from 8
European countries from own affiliates and exports to 40 countries world-wide via a
growing international Sales network. More than 600 service centres are servicing
customers EMEA-wide.

To realize the challenging company growth targets for the coming years - the
definition and execution of a sustainable “Market Growth strategy” for the South-
Eastern markets will be mission critical. Thus - our client is in need of an Area Sales
Manager to define core actions towards becoming a market-leader in these regions.

The candidate (m/f) is the pro-active driver of all international Sales/Dealer development
and direct Sales activities in the assigned target region.

The main focus areas for this Area Sales Manager role are:

  • Pro-actively develop, define and execute the regional Sales & Growth Strategy
    for industrial target customers and regional dealer/Sales distribution in assigned
    Sales territory
  • Drive profitable volume growth, co-operation activities and market coverage –
    by ensuring a sustainable Pricing Policy, individualized commercial concepts and
    a KPI-based customer value added chain
  • Systematically generate revenues and execute commercial plans
  • Ensure highly efficient communication and teamwork with Corporate Sales & the
    international Sales/Service/Marketing teams in Germany
  • Ensure “total customer satisfaction”

The ideal candidate (m/f) earned a higher (Bachelor/Master) education in a
technology/engineering, production/industrial engineering or commercial field - or a
certified foundation as technician/engineer/master in respective industry fields.

Thorough project management and operational Sales leadership skills within a
dynamic environment are essential – throughout the entire process & value chain until
key Sales metrics are met. The candidate feels comfortable in leading all market and
dealer development activities across the South-East European region and acts as a
“role-model” for local Sales representatives of the regional distribution network –
without direct leadership responsibilities. The working style of the ideal candidate is
analytic, systematic, process driven and hands-on – specifically when time is short. He
could anticipate customer needs by using his personal comprehension. The ideal candidate
is self-directed, has positive working attitude and owns strong ethic & integrity.

The candidate is used to operate on all business levels and international markets with
personal authority, technical/commercial expertise and effective interpersonal skills.
Written and oral communication in German & English is mandatory. Italian or Eastern-
European language skills are a strong surplus. The candidate should live already in
Southern Germany – or is willing to relocate to a main city of Bavaria. This Sales role
could be partially operated from a home-office base.
